Waiting for the storm
Perhaps one of the biggest thrills about living in Gauteng are the massive thunderstorms we experience in summer, in what has to be the world’s ‘biggest’ sky. What’s even more exciting is viewing these awesome events from the air, and from a safe distance, of course. AsĀ I write, I’m waiting for my flight to leave from Port Elizabeth airport. I have that familiar nervous feeling in my gut. It should be a great electrical show, but unfortunately I don’t have my camera, so the visuals will have to flow through my words. Unless, of course if I can sneak a picture using my mobile, but that would be illegal.
